Keeping in view the difficulties faced by assessees in filing service tax return for the period July, 2012 to September, 2012; CBEC has extended the due date of submission of return from 15th April, 2013 to 30th April, 2013 (Order No. 02/2013-ST dated 12th April, 2013).
Further, Department has uploaded revised excel utility on 9th April, 2013. To avoid any issue at the time of preparation and filing of service tax return, team DYN recommends to use updated utility. Also, status of the Service Tax returns for the return period July-Sept, 2012, uploaded on or after 25.03.2013 can be viewed now under ‘View XML Status’ option.
