Q. 519 1. What GST Tax rate is applicable on Contract Services provided by Municaipalities, PWD and RIICO ? 2. Whether GST rate varies if services provided by these Government Entity or Authorities mentioned in Article 243G & Article 243W ?
Ans. Services by governmental authority by way of any activity in relation to any function entrusted to a municipality under article 243W and 243G of the Constitution is covered under GST exemption notification no.12/2017 -CTR.
