On 5-8-2015, Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Haryana, in pursuance of approval of the Government conveyed vide memo. No. Secy/ACSET/2015/183, dated 4.8.2015, implemented electronic governance (conferring the powers from section 54 A), for the purposes of registration and furnishing of returns, with immediate effect, for carrying out the various provisions of the Act and the Rules framed thereunder.

Further, on the same date, Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Haryana, extended the period for filing online quarterly returns for the quarter ending 30.6.2015, upto 31.8.2015.
